Media support for N versions of Windows

You need to have Media Feature Pack installed to enable proprietary media playback.

Testing support

To test proprietary media support, check if you are able to load and play the test video on the help page about HTML5 Proprietary Media on Linux.


Installing support

If using the latest versions of Windows 10 N:

  1. Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Apps and Features > Optional Features > Add a Feature;
  2. Find and install the Media Feature Pack in the list of Optional Features;
  3. Restart your computer to complete the installation.
