Create and manage your personal radio library

To save stations to your favorites and to add your own private radio stations, you need to log in to your Vivaldi account.

Favorites

By saving radio stations to your favorites, you can create your own custom library of radio stations for easy listening.

Add to favorites

To add a radio station to favorites:

Option 1

1. Browse or search for the station and hover over its card.
2. Click on the Click to add to favorites button.

Option 2

If the radio station is currently playing, click on the Click to add to favorites button in the player.

Remove from favorites

To remove a radio station from favorites:

Option 1

1. Go to your Favorites page or search for the station and hover over its card.
2. Click on the Click to remove from favorites button.

Option 2

If the radio station is currently playing, click on the Click to remove from favorites button in the player.

Private radio stations

While we try to add as many radio stations to Vivaldi Radio as possible by default, there are still plenty of them out there. Those you can add to your favorites manually. The stations you add will only be visible to you.

Add a private station

To add a new radio station:

1. Go to the Favorites page.
2. Click Add station at the bottom of the page.
3. Enter the name and the streaming link of the radio station.
4. Optionally, you can add the station’s homepage and link to the logo, as well as relevant tags.
5. If you group your favorites, select or create a new group for the station.
6. Click Save.

Edit a station

To make changes to your private station:

1. Hover over the station on the Favorites page.
2. Click the Edit station button in the top left corner of the station card.
3. Make the changes.
4. Click Save changes.

Delete a station

To delete a private radio station:

1. Hover over the station on the Favorites page.
2. Click Delete station in the top right corner of the station card.
3. Click Delete to confirm your decision.

Groups

Create a group

To create a new group:

Option 1

1. Click on Add Group after the Favorites group title..
2. Give the group a name.
3. Click Save.

Option 2

1. While adding or editing a radio station, select New Group in the Group drop-down menu.
2. Give the group a name.
3. Click Save.

Reorder groups

Favorites will always be the first group on the menu, but you can reorder groups you’ve created.

To rearrange the order in which the groups are displayed:

1. Hover over the group’s name on the menu.
2. When you see the button for dragging, click on it and drag the group to its new location on the menu.

Add stations to groups

To add radio stations to groups:

1. Add the station to Favorites.
2. Edit the radio station.
3. Click the Group drop-down menu.
4. Select a group you want to add the station too.
5. Click Save.

You can also add private radio stations to groups, while adding or editing them.

Delete groups

To delete a group:

1. Go to the group’s page in Favorites.
2. Click Delete group at the bottom of the page.
3. Click Delete to confirm your decision.

Deleting a group will not remove your favorites or delete your private stations. They will be available in the Favorites section.
