Using Reader View is an excellent way to declutter your screen to focus on the content – especially on smaller screens.

Enabling Reader View

To enable Reader View on Vivaldi Mobile, open the  Vivaldi menu button Vivaldi menu > Settings > Content Settings > Accessibility and tick the box for Simplified view for web pages.

Once enabled, you’ll see a prompt (Show simplified view) on top of the screen whenever Reader View is available for a web page.

Customise Reader View

To change the appearance of Reader View

  • Open an article  and switch to Reader View;
  • Tap on the Extensions toggle button overflow menu in the top right corner and select Appearance;
  • Pick between a Light, Dark or Sepia theme and change the font style and text size.
  • Tap outside the settings area to close the settings.

Find in Page

Search for a specific term on the page currently being viewed in Reader View by using Find in Page. Tap on the Extensions toggle button overflow menu in the top right corner and select Find in Page. Enter your search term and click the Search button Search button to execute the search.
