Vivaldi Webmail access and reputation system

Vivaldi Webmail is a free and private email service we offer only to our active community members to cover their personal emailing needs. You can access it via the web interface, or you can add the account to a mail client/app of your choice.
Unfortunately, Vivaldi Webmail is constantly tested by malevolent people like spammers, scammers, phishers and others with malicious intentions. The spammers are very cunning and often find ways to slip past the restrictions we have set up to limit spam. It has been a constant battle of trying to one-up the other. To combat this, we’ve introduced a reputation system.
When you try logging in to Vivaldi Webmail and get the error “Access Denied” or “Your account doesn’t have permission to access mail service”, it means that you don’t have enough reputation to use Vivaldi Webmail.
Accessing Vivaldi Webmail
To start using your webmail account, you first need to be an active community member and build up some reputation by using the following services:
To guarantee the efficiency of this method, details about how the reputation system works are not shared publicly. How long it will take to get access to Vivaldi Webmail will also vary. So it’s best to just enjoy being a member of the community.
When you’ve been granted access to Vivaldi Webmail, you’ll be notified via email to your account’s recovery email. An email address ([email protected]) and inbox are created only after you log in for the first time.
Once you have access to Vivaldi Webmail, you won’t lose it as long as you follow Vivaldi’s Terms of Use and the general inactive account policy (log in to any Vivaldi service at least once every 6 months).
