Standalone version - how to uninstall?
How do I uninstall standalone versions of vivaldi 4?
Hi I am having major trouble with the latest Vivaldi (100% disk usage and system freeze during startup, sometimes BSOD system crash), so I am running an old Version without updating it for now. But that can't go on forever. So from time to time, I would like to try if the newest Version fixed [...]
Question about standalone version of Vivaldi
Because of serious stability problems with Vivaldi 6.1, I'm planning to drop back to Vivaldi 5.7, but when I install the standalone version, can I simply copy the Vivaldi folder to Program Files, and everything will work correctly? I'm asking because I know that portable apps often can't run from there, or you will run [...]
Upgrading standalone version of Vivaldi
I am using standalone version of Vivaldi, when I do the upgrade, I download the installer -> use standalone version to let it unzip to a folder. Is it ok for me to just copy the "Application" folder to replace the existing one and will the new version adapt the old "User Data" folder content? [...]
Is standalone installation possible on linux?
I would like to have a standalone installation on a linux machine (Debian 11). The reason being that in my company we boot from an image on the network which means that everything that you install through package managers, is gone after each reboot. However, we can have anything on our user folder. So what [...]
Vivaldi icon for multiple standalone Vivaldis
Hi Vivalovers!!! Who's the chicest browser in the world? But... for hard users like me who use multiple standalone ones, this doesn't look edgy... I have been curious whether to add a feature to change the color or shape of the Icon on the background. I have changed the .ico file but whenever updated, it [...]
How to create a standalone app for vivaldi://calendar?
I tried the usual path with the --app=vivaldi://calendar executable option, but that opened a window complaining that chrome://calendar doesn't exist. Quoting didn't help either. Could we call this a bug, since it's trying to redirect to a Chrome URI instead of handling that by itself when running from --app?
VIVALDI STANDALONE BROKEN after the latest update
Hallo there, i'm using Vivaldi since its first release. I would like to point out that after the latest update, Vivaldi Standalone no longer starts if the installation folder is inside C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86) . I have always used Vivaldi Standalone inside C:\Program Files (x86). My folders are: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Vivaldi\User Data\Default" [...]
wierd bugs in standalone snapshot after stable installed
twice I installed stable all/single(idk which) user over a year alongside standalone snapshot. On my previous win7, right click to open link in private window crashed Vivaldi. I thought there's a bug with above setup(just a hunch) but didn't report thinking it was most likely unreproducible. Now, I installed the same 2 Vivaldi setup on [...]
Standalone Vivaldi Profile deleted on windows reinstall
I installed Vivaldi as standalone on D drive. When I reinstalled windows, my profile (in D drive) was deleted. Vivaldi is the only browser where this happened, that is bad.
